Laura was absolutely wonderful taking care of our cat, Cat Stevens, while we were away. She was diligent, detail-oriented, dependable, and incredibly communicative throughout our trip. Taking care of Cat Stevens is a somewhat unusual cat-sitting assignment because she hides whenever we’re gone. So instead of getting to spend time playing with or cuddling a cat, Laura essentially had the job of caring for a phantom. She would arrive at a quiet, apparently cat-free house, scoop the litter box, replace yesterday’s empty food plate with a fresh one, check the water, and leave—only to return the next day and discover that the food had magically disappeared. For someone who loves cats, I imagine it’s not the most exciting or rewarding assignment! Nevertheless, Laura treated every visit with the same care and attention. She followed our instructions closely, showed up exactly when we asked her to, and sent us photos every single day of Cat Stevens’ food, water, and litter box so we knew she was eating, drinking, and being well cared for. She was also thoughtful about the house, bringing in packages and keeping us informed about anything we needed to know. For me, the most important thing when leaving home isn’t really the house—it’s knowing that I can trust someone completely with our little girl. Laura gave us that peace of mind. I never had to wonder whether Cat Stevens had been fed or cared for, and that allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip without worrying about her. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and everything exactly as it should be. Laura is responsible, conscientious, trustworthy, and clearly takes her work seriously. We would absolutely ask her to care for Cat Stevens again and recommend her without hesitation.

Another great experience with Laura. The cats are always so happy when she is here. I receive photos and videos from when she walks through the door, playing/feeding, and taking overall care of the cats. She also goes above and beyond to let me know when I get packages 📦 and watches over the house and the cats like they are her own. We are very blessed to have her help us when we leave town.
