I am deeply rooted in the world of pet care... Hello! I bring over a decade of professional experience from the pet care industry to my clients, and pride myself on providing exceptional care. My intuition enables me to connect with every creature, specializing in even the most challenging and apprehensive animals. I have a soft spot for senior pets and a niche for handling aggressive or fearful ones.
I am deeply rooted in the world of pet care. I've worked in pet hotels, veterinary care, and have owned and operated a pet care business for 8 years, along with being a professional pet photographer. My photography work was recently featured on the cover of STYLE Magazine! I also do feral TNR, cat fostering, and volunteer with local cat sanctuaries and animal rescues. Working with animals is my full-time job.
I share my home with four rescue cats: Desmond, Zeke, Masudi, and Asmodeus. You can often find me around Sacramento exploring scenic river spots, snuggling my pile of kitties, or running through traffic in pursuit of stray dogs.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Hire a sitter who has professional experience and who understands cat behavior and body language.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Talking through the needs of the client and their cats. Learning the personality of each cat and catering to their individual needs and personalities.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Constant vigilance of my surroundings and being on alert for anything out of the norm.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Holidays get booked up quick so book them early!
What is your favorite cat toy?
Wiggle worms! Or natural fiber lures. Cats go nuts for both of those!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them their space and respect their boundaries. I offer them food, treats, and affection to gain their trust. Building a relationship with any cat takes time and patience.

I was in a bind and needed a cat sitter incredibly last minute and around the holidays, so took a chance and reached out to Drew. She was very responsive, understanding, and quick to set my mind at ease. Her experience working with anxious cats was also what really encouraged me. My cat Fiona tends to be very skittish around new people and isn't the most friendly straight away, so I worried about getting her a sitter she didn't know, but she warmed right up to Drew the moment she walked through the door! Drew sent plenty of pictures to assure me of Fiona's well-being and it was clear my cat was really enjoying the time spent with her visitor. The updates on how she was doing were much appreciated and I'll definitely consider working with Drew again when making travel plans in the future! Thank you, Drew!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Rancho Cordova cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
