I have been a cat parent for over 24 years. I personally have parented 5 cats of my own, including one who lived 19.5 years, during 2 years of which I nursed him through intestinal lymphoma. Another was brought to me pregnant, and I assisted her in delivering her litter of 6 kittens, 4 of which I then fostered and adopted out. I kept 2 of them, as well as mama cat. I have also assisted my daughter when she worked at a cat rescue shelter. I currently have a 14 year old cat named Mo (seen in my profile pic), as well as a golden retriever named Darwin. Both of my daughters have 2 cats each, and I care for them when my daughters are out of town... I have been a cat parent for over 24 years. Both of my daughters have 2 cats each, and I care for them when my daughters are out of town. I work part time, mostly in the evenings, so my schedule is pretty flexible to take on catsitting jobs. I usually like to sit in the mornings, but can sometimes take some jobs later in the day as well. I am able to travel locally in San Diego to care for your cats. I limit myself to a 5 mile radius, but am willing to travel a bit further, just ask!

I am comfortable with administering oral medications, eyedrops, eardrops, and topical medications. I will scoop litter boxes, clean up hairball messes, and feed and give your cat(s) treat, according to your wishes. I will send you photo updates of your cat(s) as well

Covid protocol: I am vaxxed and boosted, and am happy to wear a mask in your house if required.

I absolutely adore any and all cats, and most are friendly to me as well. I look forward to giving your cats lots of love and pets!!

I am also happy to bring in your mail/Amazon packages and water your plants while you are away!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
