When engaging with pets for the first time, I try to match their energy. If they are shy and timid, I'll give them space and wait for them to approach first. If they are up in my business, I give them the physical or nonphysical affection to match... I have been with dozens of cats in my life. No matter how difficult, I've been able to get along with them. I not only have limitless patience, but also limitless respect for every living creature under my care. My motto has always been "Treat pets like people. Treat people with kindness."

If they are hostile, I know how to diffuse and disengage before then working on getting them accustomed to my pressence without intruding in their space.
My current cat, Monte, and I are like two peas in a pod. He is VERY physically affectionate and spends most of his waking hours screaming for food and sleeping. He is old and requires a lot of particular care so I have plenty of experience handling needy cats. I also love playing with him both with and without toys. He like roughhousing funnily enough and I can tell where and when he's reached his limit so I dont overstimulate him.
I am a trans woman living in SOMA. I live with cat, Monte, and dog, Ottoman. I spend my days making videogames and playing tabletop games with friends. I look forward to meeting your babies!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I like to meet the cat with you ahead of time at least once before being left alone with them. We will go over a few basic things about them as well as give them a first impression of me while in the comfort of your presence.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I NEVER touch or bring anything in the home while I'm there. I am hyper vigilant at all times for anything that may pose a danger to animals. I am officially EFR certified and have unofficial experience with CPR for pets.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes. I rarely do anything special for any holiday and I rarely travel out of the bay area as well.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
