Cats have been a constant source of comfort and joy in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, and they’ve been part of my home throughout most of my adult years. Caring for cats has always felt natural to me, which is why I’ve been cat sitting for over 40 years. It’s truly from the heart. I love getting to know each cat’s personality, earning their trust, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their family is away. I love getting to know each cat as an individual… the shy ones who need patience and gentle encouragement, the playful ones who can’t resist a wand toy, and the snugglers who just want a warm lap and soft words. I take the time to earn their trust, to understand their routines, and to make sure they feel loved and cared for.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is building a connection with each cat and seeing them feel safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. I love getting to know their personalities—the shy ones who slowly come around, the playful ones who light up with a toy, and the snuggly ones who just want quiet companionship. It’s incredibly rewarding to earn their trust, share in their little moments of joy, and provide care that gives both the cat and their family peace of mind. Cat sitting isn’t just a job for me… it’s a chance to share affection, play, and calm companionship with cats I truly enjoy spending time with.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I take safety and security very seriously, both for the cats and the home. I make sure doors and windows are securely closed, follow any house rules carefully, and keep an eye on any potential hazards so the environment stays safe for the cat. I handle feeding, litter, and play routines exactly as instructed, and I monitor the cat closely for any signs of stress or health issues. I also respect the family’s privacy and property, leaving the home as I found it. My goal is to provide peace of mind so both the cat and their humans feel secure while I’m caring for them.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
