As a former vet assistant I am skilled at handling cats and administering medications (including subcutaneous fluids). I took an animal first aid course years ago & am going to study up on the techniques.

I have lived with cats my entire life, except for 4 years when living in college dorms. Even then I would volunteer at animal shelters, ... I adore cats for their unique personalities! I will get to know your cat's quirks and work with them on their level. As a former vet assistant I am skilled at handling cats and administering medications (including subcutaneous fluids). I took an animal first aid course years ago & am going to study up on the techniques.

I have lived with cats my entire life, except for 4 years when living in college dorms. Even then I would volunteer at animal shelters, visit pet stores with adoptable cats, and sneak visits with the maintenance person's kitty just to get my feline fix.

In my spare time I enjoy various arts and crafts, going to book stores, hiking, and, of course spending time with my kitty Lilith.

My personal covid protocol: I am vaccinated and boosted. I wear a mask in crowded indoor public spaces, and I wash my hands frequently. I will bring a mask to our meet & greet and will wear it if requested.

Michelle did a fantastic job with our senior cat Henry while we were out of town, administering an IV of sub fluids and oral medication. Our cat can be shy with strangers, but Michelle seemed to earn his trust and make him feel at ease. She was great with communication and updates. Definitely going to try and book with her again.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
