During visits, I take my time to connect in a way that feels natural for them..... I’ve been a proud Sebastopol resident since 1972, and cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had cats, and over the years I’ve gained experience with all kinds of personalities...from shy, sensitive souls to bold, playful explorers. I truly believe cats are some of the most extraordinary creatures on this Earth. I treat each one with respect, patience and lots of love, always honoring their unique boundaries and rhythms.
During visits, I take my time to connect in a way that feels natural for them...whether that’s quiet companionship, gentle brushing or lively play if they’re in the mood. I adore the little rituals of trust-building, like soft conversations, letting them explore my scent, or simply sitting near them while they decide how they’d like to interact.
Purring is my favorite sound in the world; it always brings me a sense of deep peace. Cats have a way of grounding me and I love returning that feeling by creating a calm, safe and loving space for them.
What sets me apart is my lifelong bond with cats and my thoughtful, heart-centered approach. I truly care about making each cat feel seen, respected and loved while their family is away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for over 20 years, caring for cats of all ages, personalities and needs. My experience includes feeding, administering medications, providing gentle companionship, playtime and maintaining a calm, safe environment while owners are away. I’m comfortable with shy or independent cats as well as playful, outgoing kitties, and I always adapt to each cat’s unique personality and routine. Over the years, I’ve learned to recognize subtle cues that indicate how a cat is feeling, helping me build trust quickly. I also communicate regularly with owners, sharing updates and pictures to give peace of mind.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is connecting with each cat’s personality and making them feel safe and loved. I love seeing shy cats warm up, hearing contented purrs and encouraging gentle play with different toys if they’re interested. Spending time with cats brings me calm and joy, and I love creating happy, peaceful visits that give both the cats and their owners peace of mind.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I especially love it when a cat sleeps with me! I have a client named Dino who Is a big cuddle bear!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a tortoiseshell Persian. She looks at me as if I'm the most wondrous being in the entire universe. I love her so much!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I’m usually available during holidays and enjoy helping cats feel safe and cared for while their families are away.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Sebastopol cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $43.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
