I am also a cat Mom of 2 boys who are VERY high maintenance and you can be rest assured I am well experienced with activities, cleaning up after, different eating routines and medications. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for neighbors, friends and my sister’s animals for 30+ years. I adore animals and treat everyone’s kitties like my own. I have had my own kitties since I was in my early 20’s and can’t imagine my life without them!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Making kitties feel safe and confident! Most cats are very independent, but also get somewhat anxious when their owners are away. I am very cognizant of this, as I have 2 cats of my own and will make your cats feel very loved and cared for!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I recently watched a client’s 4 cats while she was on vacation for 2 weeks. One needed an inhaler daily and one needed medication and hid under the bed. I was able to coax her out with treats and hid her medicine in a pill pocket and it worked magically! By the end of the week, they were all running to the door when they heard my voice. I was sad to have to say goodbye to them! Luckily, I still get to see them as I do their Mom’s hair! 😻
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 2 boys and they are named Mookie (Betts) and Matteo. Mookie has been with me for 4 years and I got him from the animal shelter in Long Beach during Covid. Matteo was found in Venice Beach by a friend, so I took him in also and gave him a loving home and brother.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I rarely travel on holidays, so I will always be available! My schedule is very flexible, so I am always thrilled to cat sit!

Renée has been the best kitty mom to my scardy cat Cutie Boy. Cutie is a Siamese mix rescue who is afraid of everyone and everything…at first. It takes a bit of patience and soothing cat whisperer vibes to coax him out of his protective hiding places and Renée was able to connected with him and get him to come out and be his playful loving self! She also went over and above offering to water my outdoor veggie garden while I was gone for 10 days. It’s been such a comfort knowing that Renée is there to love and take care of Cutie Boy. He is such a special spirit and so is Renée. I highly recommend her services. You and your kitty will make a new beloved friend!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Studio City cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $36.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Renee took care of my 4 cats for 2 weeks while I was gone on vacation. 2 of my cats needed medication every day and she always got the job done even when they were being difficult. She always kept me updated and sent me pictures so I they knew they were okay. Highly recommend Renee. She will treat your cats as if they were her own.
