What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I am a cat person through and through so I love meeting each one of your kitties and learning who they are. Every cat has a different personality, and I love taking the time to earn their trust at their pace. Watching a shy or cautious cat relax and feel comfortable is the most rewarding feeling.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Mortimus, Link, and Lima Bean are my kitties now. 2 are all black brothers and one is a fluffy Norwegian bush cat. I have always owned black cats.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I’d recommend choosing a sitter who asks questions about your cats personality. What makes them feel at ease, favorite treats, spots to be pet, their quirks, any hiding spots, their favorite toys.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I always make sure to triple check locking and closing any doors. I follow all instructions carefully, double check windows, and treat your space with the same care and thoughtfulness I would my own. If anything seems out of the ordinary, I communicate that.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I approach very slowly and on their terms. In my experience, lowering myself down to their level has helped too. I make sure to gently call for them or make noise as to not startle abrasively. I let them come to me, respect their space, and use calm energy since animals are sensitive to that. I always follow the cat’s lead rather than forcing any interaction. I’ll jingle a toy or offer treats too depending on owner’s instructions.

Highly recommend Bri! Having just moved into the area we needed a trustworthy and caring pet sitter for 2 cats. We contacted Bri and she was always prompt to reply to our questions and agreed to a pre visit to get to know her. She's very knowledgeable and just loves cats. We have 2 cats that are dear family to us so we are very careful who will take care of them when we are away. Bri is truly a wonder for our 2 girls. They are very shy and never show themselves when strangers are around but they both took to Bri as if they had known her. I was so surprised that our shyest girl was, seeking out Bri on her visits for attention, love and head bumps instead of hiding! Bri was great with texting updates daily and photos after each visit. We loved that. Knowing our girls were well cared for and loved helped being away much easier. Thank you Bri!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
