Kayleigh was an absolutely wonderful with my cats! they're usually pretty apprehensive around new people, but they opened up to her quickly (a sign of how gentle and intuitive she is with animals). She went above and beyond in every way: experimenting with diferent treats, toys, and even putting ice ij the water bowl to keep my girls cool and entertained. Thanks to her, I learned a few new things that my cats enjoy. her communication wqs excellent, with regular updates, photos, and videos that really gave me oeace of mind while i was away. she even vacuumed around the litter boxes, which was such a thoughtful touch. By the end of the booking, all the cats clearly adored her. I wouldnt hesitate to book Kayleigh again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, proactive, and reliable cat sitter.

Kayleigh really cares about the cats she is caring for as she reaches out with any concerns and ensures they’re well cared for. She even leaves the area near our litterboxes cleaner than when we left for vacation. It’s not expected but much appreciated as she goes above and beyond!

Kayleigh did a wonderful job taking care of our two kitties, each of whom require their own special care. She was flexible to accommodate specific medication timings as well as responsive, providing plenty of photos and updates. She cared for the house as well and made sure everything was in order while we were away.

I moved to Minneapolis on February 8. Just 3 days later, I realized my male cat, Jimmy, hadn’t peed in a while. I whisked him off to the University of Minnesota emergency vet at 2 am, where he was diagnosed with a urinary blockage and hospitalized for a few days. In the meantime, I tried to settle into a new apartment in a new city with my other cat (Jimmy’s sister) and my dog. Jimmy came home on the evening of February 13 with detailed medication and care instructions. Between his needs and the needs of my other cat and dog, and still having to go into the office the next day, I quickly realized I was overwhelmed. I cried to the UMn emergency vet hotline and they suggested Meowtel; cue me contacting Kayleigh at 11 PM, asking if she could come spend the next day with Jimmy and the other two animals, as early in the morning as possible. What Kayleigh did for me was nearly Herculean. On short notice, she arranged to pick up my apartment keys at my office and then spent a full day with a sick cat, his stressed sister, and a dog she’d never met before. She paid thorough attention to the instructions I sent her over text, and she provided frequent updates and photos; she even managed to take a video of Jimmy peeing (a very important sign of his recovery!). She administered Jimmy’s medications and cuddled with him in his convalescence room, which was really just my uncomfortable bathroom floor that I’d thrown blankets on. She also made sure to spend time playing with my other cat and even my dog - while my regular dog walker came at noon, my dog obviously benefitted from some additional attention from Kayleigh. I don’t assume that anyone will love my cats as much as I do, but I could tell from all my interactions with Kayleigh that she cared about Jimmy as though he were her own. Even after I came home from work and the booking was over, she sent final reports on how the animals did during the day, and when I needed help again with medication the next morning, she was able to quickly respond to my booking request once more. She has kept in touch regarding Jimmy’s health (which again, is essentially the fascinating process of sitting around waiting for him to pee) and given me a lot of useful advice on giving medication and general cat care. She has even shared some pictures of her own sweet cats! Jimmy seems to be firmly on the road to recovery, and he, his sister, and my dog are all finally adapting to life in Minneapolis. I can’t imagine having made it this far without Kayleigh’s help that first critical day after Jimmy came home. If you need excellent care for your cats, you need Kayleigh.

My flight was canceled so I needed help checking on my kitty for one evening. Even with last minute notice and an already full schedule, Kayleigh made it work!

I needed a cat sitter last minute, and Kayleigh was quick to respond and really easy to work with. Normally when I go out of town, I can hear my cat Geen howling at the door when I get home. This time was the first time that she wasn’t howling! I can tell that Geen was shown lots of love while I was away. Kayleigh’s updates were timely, thoughtful, and included pictures of whatever Geen was up to. All in all great experience, highly recommend!

As usual Kayleigh took care of my Frances while I visited friends. She knows all of the funny little things my cat likes and lovingly accommodates “the queen”. I know Franny loves seeing her! In addition to watching my kitty, Kayleigh is attentive and lets me know about anything going on at home. She is professional and on top of things which helps me relax every time! Very thankful for her!
