I have owned cats my entire life, and currently have two rescues. I also have experience volunteering with animal shelters, including fostering underage kittens. I also have experience pet sitting cats of all temperaments.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for friends and family for two years now. My clients have been cats of varying ages, and personalities.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats currently. Jake is my orange and white tabby cat, who was apart of a litter I fostered back in 2013. Morpheus is my long haired black cat, who was given to me by my friend who could not care for him anymore. He was initially going to be a foster, but he made his way into my heart and couldn’t ever leave.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would suggest to the owner they vet the sitter carefully, by checking all reviews and testimonials, and asking others in their community. I would also recommend they have detailed conversations with the potential cat sitter. In these conversations, I would clearly express your cats needs, personality, and any other aspects that would help both your cat and the sitter be most comfortable. I would also recommend writing out clear instructions and being communicating you are more than willing to receiving messages if any problem was to arise during care.

Megan is my go-to whenever I need someone to watch over my cats while I go out of town for work. I can tell she treats them well because my cats love her and they’re not very friendly. She’s worked with them consistently and at their own pace which is why they love her so much. Sometimes I feel a little jealous! She’s also super reliable and I’ve never had her flake on me. I highly recommend her!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Yorba Linda cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
