Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two! Sox (or Soxy Boy) is my boy cat ! He is a domestic shorthair ! Got him when he was a kitten in 2022 ! Sandy is my girl cat ! She is also a domestic shorthair . I drove a total of 6hrs to get her from Alamosa & took her to the Sand Dunes ! Her name is so fitting because her fur is like sand and she was adopted next to the Sand Dunes ! She was adopted in 2023!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to introduce myself & am always open to meeting beforehand because first impressions are important to me but can also just dive right in! I always appreciate someone that will either text or handwrite ā or both !! ā instructions of how theyād like me to take care of their loved one(s). It helps me make sure I donāt miss anything! I also enjoy sending a photo or two of the fur baby or babies during my time sitting!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I handle them with patience. Especially if Iām staying with them. Cats are especially sensitive to new scents & people so I just give them time to adjust, approach & retreat as needed! As much as I love a good snuggle with a cat or pet, Iām not going to force it if I notice timid or anxious behavior.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
