I meet your Cats where they are, working with their natural curiosity and instincts to build trust and offer them a great experience during our time together. I use a variety types of toys to stimulate their natural hunting behaviours, followed by mealtime or treats to complete their instinctual hunt/catch/eat cycle.
I offer a gentle approach, positive reinforcement only, and plenty of praise, as well as pets and/or brushing (if your kitty is comfortable with it, of course).
I'm a Bird nerd as well, so I'm happy to sit and just watch Birds (or whatever their fav critters are) with your kitty, too!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to meet and spoil other people's Cats! I'm the person who goes to someone else's house and greets their Cats first and the one you can find chilling on the floor with the Cat at a party.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 5 wonderful feline fur babies. Miriam Mousebane, a muted tortie; Mora aka Smores, a voidling with white undercoat; Willow aka Hei Hei, a grey and white sweetheart of a girl; and the newest additions, rescued Savannahs Remy, a sweet and total goofball and wildcat, and Yeti, a silver Savannah with wise green eyes and trust issues that we're working through together. It's a slow process but he's being very brave and has made good progress. All of them are loved for their own unique personalities and I couldn't imagine life without them!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I meet them where they are, offering only gentle challenges driven by their natural curiosity. I tailor my approach to each individual and build trust. I speak softly, move slowly, use slow blinks to communicate that I'm not a threat, and offer praise or treats to gently encourage and reward bravery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
