Cat Sitting in Denver, CO

Cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had multiple cats (and dogs), so caring for animals has never felt like a chore—it’s simply second nature.

Today, I share my home with Eevee, a beautiful and very opinionated tabby whom we adopted as a kitten in 2018. Living with a cat who has plenty of personality has taught me that every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one on their own terms.

I love interactive playtime and have a special appreciation for energetic cats who enjoy chasing toys and staying active. At the same time, I understand that not every cat wants to be the life of the party. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or somewhere in between, I always respect their comfort level, boundaries, and unique personality...

At the same time, I understand that not every cat wants to be the life of the party. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or somewhere in between, I always respect their comfort level, boundaries, and unique personality.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of cat sitting for friends and family throughout the state, caring for cats with a wide range of temperaments and routines. During every visit, I make sure cats have fresh water, nutritious food, a clean litter box, and plenty of attention (or space, if that’s what they prefer). I’m also happy to handle litter top-offs and other routine care as needed.

One of the compliments I value most comes from my own veterinarian. While Eevee would much rather skip her vet visits entirely, the staff consistently remark on how much she trusts me and how noticeably more relaxed she becomes when I’m with her. To me, that’s one of the best indicators of the bond and trust I strive to build with every cat in my care.

While I’m new to Meowtel, I’m not new to cats. My lifelong love of them, combined with years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets and those of friends and family, means you can feel confident that your cat will be treated with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection every step of the way.

Learn More About Tyler

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

By following all the instructions of care for the owner’s home and cat established during the first meeting. Additionally, I would make sure that there’s nothing left out or left on that could be a potential hazard or risk for the cat or the home. Finally, making sure any alarm systems are armed and any entry is locked, ensuring the entire home (and kitty) is secure.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Hands down, the Cat Dancer. Just a wire toy with some rolled up brown paper pieces at the end. My cat turns into a gymnast once that thing comes out.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Approaching quietly with respect to their space and gauging their body language + eye contact. Checking their tail shape/motion, fur raising, eyes (contact or dilation), or what they might even be saying!

I can’t recommend Tyler enough as a cat sitter. He is incredibly reliable, attentive, and genuinely care for my babies like their his own. I always feel at ease knowing my kitties are not only fed and cared for, but also getting love, attention, and companionship while I’m away. He’s wonderful about playtime and pets, and always sends tons of pics and videos. Tyler goes above and beyond, and it makes all the difference.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
