I absolutely adore cats! We've owned cats my whole life, adopting our first cat (Scamper) when I was about 4 and our second cat (Frisco) when I was in middle school. Each cat had VERY different personalities, so I learned how to adapt my interactions to make them the most comfortable. I also had to learn to administer medication for each of them (Scamper had to get a shot for diabetes, Frisco had to have oral medication for arthritis). And I recently adopted my own cat (Rickie) 3 years ago! She's a gem and has traveled with me multiple times across the country, often coming with me on hikes (on a leash) and out exploring. She's also had to go on medication recently for some skin allergies, so I've also had experience with cats and allergies... I absolutely adore cats! I love interacting with cats and taking the time to get to know their personalities - each is unique but wonderful in their own way! I've also been pet sitting in some capacity since I was about 11, and have taken on more pet clients over the past year in Denver. I would definitely describe myself as a cat person - I absolutely love dogs as well, but cats have a special place in my heart.

Outside of pet sitting, I work in Consulting, almost 100% remote, and I have flexibility to stop in when needed (depending on my meeting schedule, but that can be flexible as well). I absolutely love hiking, skiing, playing grass volleyball, and all things outdoors! I recently took up rock climbing (when in Colorado....). But I also enjoy hanging with friends and drinking wine on a patio with a good book.

Delaney has helped out with our cats a few times now and she always does a fantastic job. This time she was able to help with more complicated fluids with our oldest cat and she handled it AMAZINGLY. Both cats are so well cared for when we get back, it makes traveling easier knowing they get such attentive care.

Delaney did a great job with my pets (I have a cat and a turtle)! For each day that she visited them she sent me detailed messages about what she did while she was there, she sent pics and asked good questions during the meet and greet to make ensure the details for their care. When I came home they were happy and everything was good!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
