As a result of these experiences, I am excellent at giving cats bottles, medications, keeping an eye on food and water intake, trimming nails, brushing teeth (Siamese get gingivitis easily as they have a different mouth shape than most cats), and I even walk my Siamese cat as he loves the outdoors... Hello cat lovers! My name is Sage and I parent a Siamese tabby mix that I rescued at 5 weeks old and another calico rescue more recently! Before that (years ago), I rescued a different abandoned calico off the streets who was diagnosed with diabetes. She lived over two years with me and this diagnosis and the vets suspect she was in her early 20s!
As a result of these experiences, I am excellent at giving cats bottles, medications, keeping an eye on food and water intake, trimming nails, brushing teeth (Siamese get gingivitis easily as they have a different mouth shape than most cats), and I even walk my Siamese cat as he loves the outdoors. My calico is a newer addition to the family and she loves lots of cuddles!
I catsat part-time to help support myself through law school, so i can generally adjust my availability upon request to meet your needs. Overall, I have a great love of animals, especially cats, and would love the opportunity to make your sweet babies feel at home while you are on a trip.
I live in Washington Park area of Denver, CO and am happy to sit in the neighboring areas.
I am a believer that cats need attention and love, especially when their parents are away, so I give them this special treatment. I would love to have the opportunity to give your cat the love that I need my Siamese would get when I am out of town. I also volunteered with a TNR program to help get cats neutered in the Glendale/Phoenix area where the feral cat population is growing rapidly.
In regard to COVID, I am vaccinated and boosted and will wear a mask in your home is that is preferred.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have a calico named Romey, who is roughly 5 (a rescue)! And a Siamese named Guru, who is 6!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
The most important thing is to approach the cat in a manner and with an energy that they know they are in charge. I am calm, slow, and quiet around the cat and slowly let them see that I am not a threat. If the cat approaches on their own, then they feel in control, safer, and more comfortable.

I’m so happy to have found Sage! I had a great cat sitter before moving to Denver, so was hoping to find another great one here. Our cat is both very friendly and rather skittish. She gets anxious when left alone for too long, and needs regular, very energetic playtime. Sage did a great job of keeping our cat company for an overnight visit. She sent regular text updates and videos of playtime and petting, and checked in with us on food and water. We were very impressed by how comfortable our cat was with her. When we got back, our cat was very clearly relaxed and happy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Sage was amazing! I have 10 kitties!! All indoor, all senior cats (7 years and older!) and 4 on multiple medications. She needed to give meds orally, transdermally, and injections as 1 is a diabetic! She was perfect in handling it all. She is a cat whisperer and loved on them lots. Love Sage! 😻

Sage was a life-saver. In spite of the holidays and the fact that I fell somewhat outside her service radius, Sage made time to look after my Boris when another plan fell through. At the Meet and Greet, I could tell right away that she "gets" cats, and Boris loved her.
