I adopted Clove and Rosemary from my neighborhood rescue in LA. They are bonded from the same litter and have brought me so much joy. I rescued my parent’s cat, Scotch, from an abandoned house back in 2015. I’ve been the go to cat sitter for many of my friends when they go on short or long vacations... Hi kitty lovers! I’m Ally (better known as ally paws by my loved ones)! I’m a dance artist & visual merchant. I love caring for animals, especially cats! They seem to find me everywhere I go. I grew up with cats my entire life, lived with roommates cats, and finally adopted my two little crazies almost three years ago.
I adopted Clove and Rosemary from my neighborhood rescue in LA. They are bonded from the same litter and have brought me so much joy. I rescued my parent’s cat, Scotch, from an abandoned house back in 2015. I’ve been the go to cat sitter for many of my friends when they go on short or long vacations.
Now that I’ve had my own cats, I’ve learned how it feels to leave them. Clove has severe pica so I am not able to have a lot of items out. I’m always concerned a cat sitter won’t understand the severity of this which has made me extra cautious of who I can trust. I’ve had both good and bad experiences with cat sitters & it’s made me want to provide support for others when I can. I know the importance of staying calm and patient with cats I meet for the first time. Each has their own personality and it’s so important to acknowledge that! I’ve been known to bring welcoming & caring energy to all aspects of my life & know it is appreciated by cats & humans!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
-Be as thorough as possible with care instructions and expectations -Meeting your cat sitter ahead of time and feeling comfortable around them -After care instructions are given, ask if the sitter has any questions before the first visit
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I triple check locks and safety in my own home and do the same in others homes. I always enter the home slowly in case any kitties are excited at the door!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
One of my own cats is very timid & anxious. I’ve been able to see how she reacts to those she meets for the first time based on how they approach her. When cat sitting an anxious cat, I will always come down to their level to be less intimidating. It’s important to never cross a boundary with the anxious kitty and let them come to you by offering love, treats, and patience!

Ally is actual cat magic! She came by beforehand to meet us and get the full rundown, sent tons of updates and photos, and was so warm and professional that we didn’t worry for a single second while we were away. But the real headline: our cat Gator is extremely anxious and has never opened up to anyone besides us. After ONE 20-minute visit from Ally, he was getting head scratches, rolling around, playing, and purring for her. We were stunned. Ally followed every instruction perfectly and even double checked about a window we intentionally left cracked just to make sure everything was secure. That level of attentiveness is so appreciated. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
