I have been watching people's pets since I was young enough to handle the responsibility. I would consider pet-sittomg to be my first job.
I have 2 very unique cats of my own, Tater Tot and Gus. I've had Tot for 4 years, I adopted her as a kitten. She does have asthma so I have experience with giving medication, she has an inhaler she takes every day but I've had to give her liquid meds and pills... My name is Zach and I'll watch your cat!

Gus is the other kitty in our home that my girlfriend and I adopted 2 years ago. He has some behavioral issues and requires a lot of play time and attention.
They each have their own unique needs in terms of medication, play time, the feeding set up, the food they eat and more, so I fully understand whatever your cat may want or need to feel comfortable. I would take care of your cat just like they were a cat of my own!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I first started watching people's pets as a teenager, usually my neighbors but also friends of my parents once I could drive. I've watched all kinds of animals, but mostly dogs and cats. I can recall watching cats who I would almost never see and cats that were friendly. Since adulthood I have mostly done cat sitting for friends but having 2 cats of my own, I cat sit every day.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Meeting new cats is the best part! Every cat has their own unique personality and I enjoy getting to know them.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Tater Tots and Gus are my cats names. They both have their own unique needs, Tot has Asthma and requires medication. Shes also very shy around new people. Gus is a rambunctious kitty who loves new people and also loves to test your patience. I love them both very much!

Zach was FANTASTIC! I could immediately tell he had a deep love for cats and was super knowledgeable. I was worried about asthma meds and urinary issues coming on, and he went out of his way to communicate in depth and offer extra visits to calm my nerves. The kitties also loved him. Book Zach rn! Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Denver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Ive never meet a cat that doesnt love Zach immediately. He cares a lot about his own cats and it shows with how truly happy they are being in his care.

There are a few things that I associate with Zach when I think of him. Cats are high on the list. He would give his life for his cat is needed. When he would look after my cat, Callie, she would seem to hang around him more even after I would come home. I chalk this up to him going above and beyond when taking care of her.
