Hello, fellow cat lovers! I came across Meowtel first as a pet owner wanting peace of mind when traveling and then decided I would really enjoy being a cat sitter as well. My first experiences with cat sitting began many moons ago as a child caring for neighbors' pets. Since then, my husband and I have become foster parents to numerous cats at the MaxFund Animal Shelter. I continue to occasionally foster batches of kittens but we have otherwise slowed down our fostering due to having recently adopted two adorable kitties ourselves. Annie is 12 and Toby is 10. They are healthy and spoiled. From the fostering experience, I have learned some medical procedures such as how to give subcutaneous fluids, pills, and topical creams to our feline friends when needed. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
