I’ve lived with cat companions all of my life. I currently have four cats and one dog in my herd.
In addition to my kitties, I volunteered for 12 years with New Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR). NBCR is a non-profit, volunteer-only cat rescue with an adoption center located at PetSmart in Garland, Texas. I helped with cage cleaning, fostering, pet center cleaning, pet laundry, and adoption counseling. I spent hours loving and playing with the cats at the pet center.
Meanwhile at home, the cats in my family are between the ages of 11 and 17. Joey, I adopted from NBCR as a returned diabetic. He gets shots twice a day and eats special food. I have been owned by him for seven years.
My oldest kitty (17) is inherited... Howdy! I’m Lesa (LEE-suh), The NoCo Cat Nanny =^..^=. Pet sitting is my full-time gig, so my schedule is flexible. My ultimate goal as your cat’s caregiver is for you to feel confident while you travel that your cat is safe, comfortable, and loved.

My oldest kitty (17) is inherited. Bella receives Sub-Q fluids for kidney disease, a crushed pill for high blood pressure along with additional supplements in a Churu, and eats special KD food. She is also on an experimental weekly pill for kidney disease. So far she is doing great!
All that to say, I have extensive experience taking care of cats with special medical needs. I’m comfortable administering pills, shots, fluids, and more.
I will treat your home and pets with the utmost respect. I grew up with the philosophy of leaving a place as you found it or better.
I provide photos and videos to my clients, so you know your kitty babies are doing well.
I'm located in West Loveland, so I'm conveniently located near Fort Collins, Berthoud, Johnstown, and the surrounding areas.
My rates guarantee that you are covered by the Meowtel promise. Lower rates on this and other apps may not include this important coverage.
Before cat sitting, I worked for 20 years as a technical editor and SharePoint designer. In 2020, I decided to take a break from office work to care for my family.
But sometimes, you need to get out of the house and get a new PURR-spective. I missed interacting with and caring for other kitties, so I pounced on the opportunity to pet sit full time. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies soon.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a herd of four cats and one dog. Myka (fluffy brown tabby) was adopted in 2012. Bella (black shorthair 🐈⬛) was inherited in 2019. Daisy (golden tuxedo tabby 🐈) was adopted in 2015 and is my daughter’s sassy cat. Joey (brown tabby shorthair) is a diabetic foster failure who joined our family in 2017. Diana (golden lab mix dog) joined our family as a rescue puppy in 2018.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I test the process of entering and exiting the house when I meet with the cat owner. After any visit, I record the cat on my way out and then record myself locking the house and testing the door is locked for my peace of mind. If the kitty is a door dasher, I like to throw a small toy when I enter or exit the home as a distraction. Or I ask the home owner for permission to bring a folding barrier gate that I can set up as an extra layer of protection.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! When my family can, we usually travel during non-holiday times. If the dates you need are showing as not available, please message me and I’ll see if my schedule is flexible.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love the Cat Dancer Rainbow Cat Wand, which is a beautiful flannel rainbow string on a stick. Every cat in my house plays with it. I find it engaging for cats of all ages.

Lesa went above and beyond all of our expectations while sitting our cats! Despite the length of our time away we could not have felt more involved with our cats and their well being. She communicated consistently sending images, videos and updates of their eating and activities. She even went as so far as to spoil all 3 of them with toys when she noticed their interest in a similar style toy. Cannot recommend enough, Lesa is wonderful!

Lesa was so, so sweet with my cats at the meet and greet, I knew they were in great hands. One of my cats is very shy, but he followed Lesa around the entire visit, and loved getting pets from her. Lesa was so wonderful with my cat boys; playing with them and taking excellent care of them while I was out of town. I always appreciate the pictures and could tell my boys were happy and content. Lesa went above and beyond and helped with watering plants and keeping an eye on the house as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Loveland cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!

Lesa was amazing with our cats. She followed their dietary restrictions exactly as instructed and insured both cats successfully ate while sitting them. She is very kind and brought a mouse toy for both cats to enjoy while we were out of town. She sent videos of the cats daily so it felt like we were still there with them. Lesa was amazing! Our poor little kitty Josephine had some medical issues right before we left, so we had to make some changes to her routine, but Lesa was flexible and understanding and took it all in stride. I’m not sure there’s anyway I can do justice to validating just what a great lady Lesa is in every capacity:communications, professionalism, attention to detail include, performance of responsibilities and then there is that amazing quality of providing amazing attention to our five kitties to me it is way above what would be the normal expectancy of services provided. She is very much a motivated and a take the initiative type of professional, she has assisted us several times and we would never ask for anyone else knowing what we have experienced.
