I am available for cat sitting on weekdays after 4pm, and anytime on weekends. I live in central CT, and I’m willing to commute to those in nearby areas to help with cat-sitting :)
During a visit I would:
• Feed your cats according to guidelines
• Administer medication (as needed)
• Scoop / change the litter box
• Play with your cat with enrichment toys (as directed)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have mostly been a cat sitter for close family and friends. Specifically, my sister has been an owner of cats for over a decade. I’ve watched her four bundles of joy on many occasions when she has been away from home, and have made accommodations and implemented her instructions for each of their diverse dietary needs.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is experiencing the multitude of cat personalities, and establishing a bond with each cat I’ve taken care of, that grows stronger with each routine visit.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two cats that I adopted as a bonded pair. Hamilton is a little void, and 7 months old, and Oliver is an orange tabby, 5 months old. (Aka Ollie and Hammy.)

We had Morgan come twice a day for our two cats for a weekend. On the meet and greet the boys really liked Morgan and they could tell she was a cat person. I did the once over with Morgan on litter box and toys and meal prep. I have a 5 page instruction manual! We have a slightly more complicated meal prep as one cat has idiopathic cystitis and requires supplements with his food, and both cast are fed a raw diet...a combo of rehydrated freeze dried and slightly cooked Viva raw. Morgan understood all the directions and the boys ate the food she gave them! Usually there is a hunger strike the first day away but not with Morgan. She was great with the boys and when we need a sitter for them again we will give her a ring!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Berlin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
