My name is Christen, and I’ve been a lifelong cat lover. I’ve had cats all my life and truly understand their personalities, needs, and the special care they require. Cats naturally feel comfortable around me, and I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and loving environment whenever I care for them.
During my visits, I make sure your cat’s routine stays consistent. I will feed them, refresh water, clean litter boxes, and spend quality time playing and interacting with them so they feel happy and relaxed while you’re away. I also understand that every cat is different—some love playtime while others prefer quiet companionship, and I’m happy to adapt to their personality.
I’m also comfortable administering medication if needed and paying attention to any changes in behavior or health. Your cat’s safety and well-being are always my top priority.
What sets me apart is my genuine love for cats and the patience and attentiveness I bring to every visit. I treat every cat as if they were my own, making sure they feel cared for, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is spending time with their unique personalities and making them feel comfortable while their owners are away. Cats have such special ways of showing affection and trust, and I love building that bond with them. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or just making sure they feel safe and cared for, it makes me happy knowing I’m helping them stay relaxed and loved in their own home

Yes , I have two kitties! Maddy and Augie are my babies. Maddy is 10 and Augie is 8 months
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When working with a new cat parent, I like to start with a quick meet-and-greet so I can meet your cat and learn about their routine, personality, and any special needs. I’ll ask about feeding schedules, litter box care, favorite toys, and whether any medication is required. During my visits, I make sure your cat is fed, has fresh water, and a clean litter box. I also spend time playing with them or giving them companionship based on their personality. I’m happy to send updates or photos so you feel comfortable knowing your cat is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. 😻

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
