I have considerable experience taking care of, medicating, and loving cats! In addition to this, I started volunteering at the animal shelter in May 2021 and in that time have gained some familiarity with common diseases and infections as well as a deeper understanding of cat behavior. I have history assisting with basic veterinary care, including inhalers, insulin and fluid administration, and both liquid and solid medicine dosing. I also have some experience administering other medications using syringes.
Beyond medical care, I am a firm believer that cats deserve play time and 1:1 love and attention for their mental health... Brief overview:

Having spent time with many cat personalities at the animal shelter, I have extensive experience socializing aggressive and shy cats. I love to accommodate all their little quirks so that they are truly comfortable when their companions aren't home. There hasn't been a cat I haven't been able to win over -- yet!
The Bottom Line: I am willing to go the extra mile with your cat(s) because I have a real passion for cat welfare. I am able to follow special instructions and I am also widely available!
About the Service: As part of every reservation I do offer to take in the mail and do basic cleaning within time constraints.
Meet and greets are also included and are free -- it is a mutually agreed upon time that we would meet up before the reservation in order to discuss expectations, exchange keys, etc. Also, feel free to message me if you are outside of my service area -- I may be able to assist dependent on the distance, however it is possible that a surcharge could be added. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns -- I am happy to work with clients to make them most comfortable!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

North Haven cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Sabrina is a cat whisperer! Over the past decade, I have used two different pet sitting companies in two different cities, with probably over a dozen sitters assigned to our little fur family throughout the years. Most of these sitters were okay and our cats would be physically healthy once we returned, but our house would be a mess and our two shy cats would still be hiding in our couch. I assumed this was just the way it was going to be until I learned about Meowtel and found Sabrina's profile. Not only is Sabrina extremely communicative, but she is a true cat lover that will go above and beyond with your fur babies. She somehow managed to win over our shy cats and within days of her visiting they were both out and about and allowing her to pet and play with them. To emphasize how amazing this is, neither of them have ever allowed anyone else, except myself and my husband, to pet them.
