My first priority is the cat’s safety and comfort above all else. I will go above and beyond to make sure your cat is cared for and loved however they need! If they’re a high energy kitten I’ll play with them nonstop, even if they tire me out; If they’re a shy or anxious cat, I will never try to push their boundaries and will give them all the space and time they need... I’m a huge cat lover and adore every cat no matter how old or young, small or big, or if they have special needs. I’ve grown up with cats as well as dogs, but adore and respect the way cats behave and their boundaries.

If they need special care and attention I will put everything aside to make sure every single need is met. I’ve cat sit professionally for about a year now, but have always been my friends and family’s first pick for when their meowers need someone to take care of them when they’re not around.
My main job is a shift supervisor at Starbucks, so I have lots of experience with customer service and managing fast-paced environments. I live in Hartford but don’t mind a commute if a cat is involved. I pay attention to detail and will make sure you’re updated and assured that your kitty is safe and sound. I will always be happy to help no matter what the task is. I’m a very calm and compassionate person for animals and people alike. I hope to make you and your furry (or furless) guys happy!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have two 16 year old cats, Cheezit (or chezzer, bezzer) and his sister Snickerdoodle! We rescued them from outside where people were feeding them and said they were "too feral", but they are the sweetest cats.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I move slowly and make sure to be as calm as possible and give them space and time. I pay close attention to their body language to figure out what they’re comfortable with.

Our cats are a bit "needy" and tend to get lonely without someone at the house for extended periods of time, and thankfully Skyler was able to assist with a week of overnight care! They took very good care of the cats, kept our house clean, and sent updates frequently. Knowing they were there made the trip much more enjoyable - thank you!

I like how he sends pictures and updates on what my baby's been up to. skyler has excellent work ethics. He left my place looking beautiful, fed, and top off the water daily, cleaned the litter box daily, and took the extra time to show my babies love when I was out of town. Would highly highly highly ❤️❤️❤️recommend to book with skyler. You will not be disappointed.

Skyler developed fantastic rapport with our more social cat and was even able to draw out our very shy cat for treats and some pets. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Norwich cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
