During my cat sitting visits, I will first say the cat’s name/names and if they seem uninterested in interacting I will ignore them until they decide they would like to interact with me. I will feed them, clean the litter and whatever else is asked of me by you!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I talk to them on the phone and introduce myself, send references if asked for and go over and met with them before hand, going through everything they would like me to do for their cat and aspects of care that are unique to their cat/cats specifically. When I am on the job I often send photos to show how we are doing and give updates.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I will keep all doors and windows closed, avoid loud noises and loud music. I will keep all of my food and medicines in closed bags away from your cats. If there is anything else I can do it ensure Saftey in your specific house, I would like to know.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I try to give them time to themselves, forcing my self on them will only make things 10x worse. They are probably uncomfortable with someone they don’t know in their space.

I highly recommend Olivia if you need someone to take care of your cat(s) while you are out of town. She is prompt and meticulous. I have a very shy cat who typically hides when anyone he doesn't know enters the house. It was only a few visits by Olivia before he came out of his shell and socialized. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
