I'm Jackie | Cat Sitting in Washington, DC

I'm a lifelong cat lover ready to treat your kitty like my own! Growing up we always had cats in the home, sometimes two at a time. When I moved to DC I spent the first few years cat-less, but thankfully found the purrfect roommate who had two (not so) little kitties. Our house is covered and toys and there are way too many cat beds and climbers, but anything to keep them happy. I used to use cat sitting as a way to get my kitty fix, and even though there are two in my home, I still love being able to create a bond with other folk's cats. We all know they each have their own little identity and personal preferences. Our Francis hates being touched on his tummy, but Petal will let you pet her anywhere and pick her up over your shoulder. Ideally, I am looking for individuals or families that need an occasional sitter. I am in SW DC, but have a car, which allows me to be flexible with location. My job requires me to go into the office most days, so would need to be gone roughly 9 hours a day. I have experience administering oral medications and ointments to pets and (I didn't know these existed before) kitty inhalers. The inhaler was with my own cat and was a struggle at first, but once understood it has been a lot easier. If I am not pet sitting you might find me at a sporting event, perusing craft festivals, doing a jigsaw puzzle, or picking up yet another hobby or DIY project. It is my mission to treat everyone's little fur baby as my own. Whether you want me to stop in to give food and pets, or invited me to stay overnight, I want to make sure your baby is well loved and taken care of as if you were home.
