Hello! My name is John-Paul, I also go by JP. I am a college student who works part time with 2 pet dogs and one elderly cat (19 year old egyptian mau) that my family sadly left behind in California.
I have experience raising two cats and have done overnight cat sitting for family friends. I have been an animal lover my whole life and am thrilled to have found a way to be productive while doing what I love! Providing enrichment for your furry family members can be done as MUCH (preferably 😺) or as limited as you and your cats prefer! All of your instructions and boundaries will be followed strictly, I understand needing the assurance of your kitties safety and I want to respect those feelings.
I will always show up on time and with a very excited attitude to provide a service I expertise in.

Learn More About John-Paul
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Being able to spend time with all different kind of cats and be paid for it is so bewildering to me. I love seeing your cats and being able to play with them! I’m very excited to gain more experience in this field and meet all different kinds of cats.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy is a string of yarn because no matter how old my cat was he loved chasing stings. My cats favorite string was always my dangly clothes and hair though. Lazer pointers are also fun.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
First of all I won’t force contact with any cats that do not want to be touched or around new people. Now if they’re just shy then I’ll try to warm up with them by letting the cat approach me when I have a treat, a toy, or whatever interests them. Cats are curious so I’ve almost never had issues being sniffed and accepted by a cat.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Boca Raton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
