What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have done cat rescues for over 26 years so I have a lot of experience with cats. I have a multi cat household.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I like meeting different cats and different breeds and getting to know them and their personalities and playing with them too. I love to read and learn about different breeds and what they like and don't like.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes I have a multi cat house.They are all indoors only cats they like to sit in the Florida room and look outside for lizards and sun bathe

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I would say to see how their cat reacts to them and see if they would be a good fit. Some cats will be a little shy at first, but they should warm up to the person so you will both be comfortable when you aren't home.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I would ask information about the cat, what they like and what they don't and if there are any medical issues I need to be aware of. I would keep a notebook with me so I can refer back to it.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I am super careful with my own cats and make sure no one ever goes outside. I would do the same when I cat sit.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I will usually be available on holidays as I stay home a lot of times. I am flexible to work around what you need.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I have a multi cat house. Some like the laser light because it's automatic and spins around. Some like balls to chase around but everyone's favorite is always cat nip paws down their favorite and I like to watch them being silly after they eat and roll in it.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I would talk softly to them . I would sing a silly song. I have found some calming kitty music on You tube and mine like that while we are in the waiting room waiting for the vet to come see them. The vet said it's a great idea also so I see what works best for each cat.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
