Growing up, we had 2 cats in my childhood home whom I loved very much. When I was 15, I found 2 baby kittens, one boy and one girl, outside of my best friend’s house. I brought them home and gave them both a life full of love and cuddles. My boy cat, Achilles, passed away in 2021 at 17 years old from cancer.
At that point, however, we had adopted another kitten. My daughter was also born an animal lover and at 6 years old she brought home a kitten she found outside, and asked if we could keep her. After looking for the kitten’s owner and being unsuccessful, we adopted her and my daughter named her Tricky:) the death of Achilles was very hard on our... Hi! She passed away in late 2022 from old age.
Throughout my many years of cat ownership, I have administered an array of medications from pills, to oral and ear drops. I learned how to administer subcutaneous fluids for one of my senior cat clients and I have since performed the procedure dozens of times on multiple cats. I have also learned how to perform insulin injections for diabetic kitties.
Ive had the opportunity to foster a few kittens along the way before finding them a forever home, which I have always enjoyed very much.
I am an energetic, kind, reliable and fun individual who enjoys spending time outside with my daughter, and I love to watch a good movie when I have the time.
I have been with Meowtel since 2022 and have since completed over 145 reservations.

We’ve had Amy cat sit for us twice before, but this time was on very short notice, over the Christmas holiday, with a sick cat who no longer wants to eat and needs three pills each day. He’s turned into a very messy eater lately, won’t eat pill pockets, and two of his pills are too small for the pill popper so she had to use the “fingers” method. Every day she came, gave his pills, cleaned up the mess of food he didn’t eat, gave him fresh food, tempted him with treats, scooped litter boxes, and entertained our other cat - even remembering to give her a special treat on Christmas. We hated to leave him, but Amy’s detailed updates and great photos and videos every day made us feel so much better! I highly recommend her for all of your cat sitting needs! 😻

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Lake Worth cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Our Lola is 21, and very frail. I was really anxious to leave her for the weekend and now I know I had nothing to worry about. Amy went above and beyond to make sure Lola ate and drank water every day. Amy sent us lots of photos and updates, and even accepted another visit on Sunday! When we arrived home, Lola’s box was clean and Amy had cleaned the carpet where our kitty missed the box. We are so grateful to you Amy, thank you so much! ❤️

This was the third time Amy has cared for our loves and every time she exceeds our expectations! We have a multi cat household with our two oldest at 18 and 19 with challenging health issues.
