I’m skilled at pilling cats, and am pretty good at nail trimming... I’ve been a cat mom for over 40 years. I’ve worked at animal shelters in the cat room socializing cats, fostering kittens, and pet sitting for neighbors for 20 years. Of course, some of the fostering failed—I adopted those kittens!
I’m skilled at pilling cats, and am pretty good at nail trimming. I can also pick up the mail, bring in or out garbage cans, water plants and feed fish, if desired.
We moved here a few years back and I’d love to increase my cat sitting experience.
Every cat is a good kitty, and it’s so much fun to play with them and get to know their unique personalities.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting for over 25 years, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, and fostered kittens. The only thing I won’t do is let your cat roam outside, even if you ok it. It’s not safe and I couldn’t live with myself if anything happened to your precious fur baby.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have two cats, Buster and Pebbles. They are both rescues. Buster is a beautiful 15 year old, long haired tuxedo and Pebbles is a playful grey short haired tabby. Buster is a lovable guy who takes long naps, and he’s a bit of a Chonker at 18 pounds. Pebbles loves going out into our screened in porch to bird watch and occasionally catch a small lizard. She’s always so proud of her catches.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I need to meet with you for a short visit so you can explain what you would like done at each visit. Explain how your cat(s) like to be fed, if they need any medication, what their own personal likes and dislikes. Do they need playtime and treats, or would they most likely hide and only come out to eat after I’ve gone? Is the belly a “no touch zone”? Every cat is different and deserves to be treated as unique.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
