When it comes to taking care of cats, I’ve had experience with applicating multiple types of medication. Whether it be oral, nasal, topical, or in the ear or eye, I’ve performed it comfortably.
With cat sitting, I believe one of the most important things is to keep open and clear communication! I want to make sure that I meet all expectations by knowing exactly what is needed for each cat. I want to keep both owner and cat comfortable and assured!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Nothing is more rewarding than earning the trust of an animal! Patience, consistency, and time are some of the most important things needed to assure a kitty!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three cats of my own and have a big heart for strays! My oldest is a 12 year old orange and white tabby named Happy! For my 13th birthday, my parents surprised me by taking me to pick out a kitten. He has always been my favorite birthday present! My other cat, Blondie, was originally a stray who suddenly showed up yowling in my driveway at night several years ago. I could not stand to leave him alone outside as he seemed to have been dumped nearby. He is also a yellow/light orange tabby, hence the name! And my youngest is my first female cat, a brown and black tabby named Pickles. I love them all very much and they truly light up my life!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
It is important to meet cats where they are and avoid unnecessary interaction that may cause stress. I usually start with spending time in the same space as a kitty yet giving them their comfortable distance. Treats are always helpful to build trust but time and patience are the best for assuring cats.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
