From a young age to now, I’ve worked with a variety of pets and animals. Some include donkeys in Portugal, geese, hams... “Treat every pet like family” is the heart of what I do and when you love what you do, it shows. Working with animals is and has always been a part of my life. Now I’m able to do this full time.
From a young age to now, I’ve worked with a variety of pets and animals. Some include donkeys in Portugal, geese, hamsters, chickens, Guinea pigs, birds, dogs, cats, aquatics, reptiles, horses, and more.
I have a veterinary assistant degree, currently renewing my dog/cat CPR training, have volunteers at Full Circle Therapeutic Riding in Palm City, Palm City Wildlife Hospital as well as the Parrot Outreach Society in Punta Gorda.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Every cat is different. I enjoy learning about their personality, creating a strong and loving bond with each one I meet so they can become comfortable and safe knowing they are taken care of each time I come back.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
After a greeting and introducing myself, I offer a meet and greet at the pet parents home. It gives them a chance and better opportunity to go over the details and any information I would need to know on how to properly and best care of their cats. While they are away, I make sure to send daily updates on how their cats are doing as well as any photos and videos.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I give them space to warm up at their own pace. Some may a little encouragement as taking some time to play with them with their toys, give them a little extra treats or any advice provided by thr pet parent.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Port Charlotte cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $22.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
