My current cats are still babies, so I understand how important playtime, enrichment, and interactive attention can be for energetic cats. At the same time, I spent many years caring for two senior cats I had since I was young, which gave me a special place in my heart for older cats... Hi! I’m a lifelong cat lover and current cat mom to three playful little ones. Cats are truly one of my biggest joys, and they’ve always been an important part of my life.
My current cats are still babies, so I understand how important playtime, enrichment, and interactive attention can be for energetic cats. At the same time, I spent many years caring for two senior cats I had since I was young, which gave me a special place in my heart for older cats. Because of that experience, I’m very attentive to the small signs cats give us- changes in behavior, energy, or mood- & I always make sure they’re comfortable, safe and cared for.
I’m happy to adapt to whatever your cat prefers, whether that’s energetic play sessions, calm companionship, or simply keeping their routine consistent so they feel secure while you’re away!
As a cat parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting since I was 11 years old! It started off with helping my neighbors and then evolved into looking after my professor’s animals in undergrad and now working with friends and their friends to help with cat care wherever I can. Cat parents have to stick together- it takes a village!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have 3 darlings! Their names are Fig (1.5 years), Harvey (1 year) and Otis (8 months). They constantly make me laugh & keep me on my toes!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always want the cat parent to feel confident in their cat’s care which is why I like to have an introduction appointment if possible. This gives us time to get to know not only each other but for me to meet your babies & feel more familiar to them! This is a great time to answer questions and here what your concerns and priorities may be.

Erin was absolutely amazing with our two kitties while we were away for almost two weeks! She has such good vibes, and the cats definitely picked up on it. Even my usually shy kitty warmed up to her, let her pet her, and clearly loved having her around! She was always prompt with messaging and sent me a little recap after every visit, along with lots of pictures of my sweet babies, which made being away so much easier. She also went above and beyond when we had an issue with our automatic feeder. I noticed on our cameras that the food didn't seem to be dispensing, so I messaged Erin through the app. She responded within minutes and went over to check on everything. Turns out the batteries in the feeder had died, and she replaced them for us, literally all within about 20 minutes of me messaging her! We felt so comfortable knowing our cats were in such good hands, and we'll absolutely be hiring Erin again the next time we go away. Highly recommend her!

Erin took great care of my boys while I was away! I appreciated her regular updates on the usual “cat tasks” and photos of happy cats. I have two cats. A 7 year old and a 1 year old and they warmed up to her so quickly! Erin is so kind and gentle with them. She takes the time out of her day to ensure they get all the interactions while I am away. Erin will cuddle and play with them when needed! I have a patio that she will also sit outside with them for a bit to ensure they get some much needed outside time as well. I noticed a big difference when Erin was cat sitting. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Saint Petersburg cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
