Safety and tr... I’ve taken care of cats and kittens since I was a child. I’m very patient, even with cats that aren’t friendly off the bat! I love hairless cats as well as very fluffy ones. I am comfortable with medicine administering if necessary, and I have no fur related allergies.
Safety and trust is very important to me, especially if I am taking care of someone else’s fur baby. I’m a very gentle person and I like to follow routines (if your pets have a set schedule for feeding, medication, and/or nap times) so you and your pet can both be happy and have peace of mind! :)

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat-sitting roughly 7 years as a teen and I’m looking to start doing it again as an adult. I also have experience volunteering to take care of kitties in the animal shelter as well as local pet stores.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
If you are looking for a cat sitter, my best advice is to trust your gut. If you find someone that you like (and also reviewed the information provided about them) and you think that you’d like them, I say go for it!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always keep the doors and pet gates locked and I spend majority of the my time indoors. I always check in on every pet in the house to make sure everything and everyone is okay and also, so I have recent accounts for where they were or when I last saw them around the house. While I’m cat-sitting, I treat your home as I would my own, and I want to make sure everything is safe and secure for everyone, and myself.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
