It's a common misconception that cats are independent and low-maintenance pets, able to be left alone for long stretches of time. As a cat mom of 2, cat auntie to many, and volunteer cat cuddler with my local shelter, I know how untrue this stereotype is!
That's why every visit from me is thorough, unhurried, and tailored to your cat's routine and preferences. This includes a clean water fountain, full belly, fresh litter box, and plenty of pets and playtime (if they're interested!) And for your peace of mind, I'll always include pictures and a detailed update to let you know how they're doing. Being apart from your loved one is hard, so you can rest assured knowing I will be there to look after them rain or shine!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know the unique personalities, quirks, and preferences of each kitty. No two cats are the same—some are cuddly, some are energetic, some are skittish, some are foodies, some are divas!—but every cat deserves care that’s catered to their needs.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 7 year old orange boy, Toulouse (named after the artistocat 🎶) and an 8 year old Siamese girl named Tiramisu!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Communication is key, so during our meet and greet, I will ask lots of questions upfront to understand your expectations and preferences. I’ll also take note of your cat’s routines, feeding habits, favorite toys, hiding spots, etc. It’s important that you trust and feel comfortable with anyone looking after your home and family member, so I encourage you to ask me as many questions as you’d like as well!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
