Cats bring me absolute JOY and I’m so excited to meet new kitties in the Atlanta area after moving from New York City--from their sweet loving "cat winks" and purrs, to their sassy way of up and leaving when they want to be left alone. I've always connected with their souls and my friends often call me the Cat Whisperer.

I grew up with many dogs and cats in our home, my Mom used to show our dogs in competitions so she also had a deep love for animals. I see myself in cats--I'm an energetic introvert who enjoys socializing and being around people, but I also love my alone time and know when it's time to rest my mind... I've always been meticulously attentive to details, borderline OCD, which I think also makes me a great candidate for cat sitting--nothing will go unnoticed because that is how I live my life on a regular basis. If cats were considered royalty to humans in ancient times, then I will be keen to bow down.

I am 3x Vaccinated against Covid-19 and I'm an extremely clean and responsible person. Outside of loving animals I work quite a bit in the music world as a pianist and I've gotten to travel to many different countries as a singer which I'm so grateful for. I'll be sure to check in regularly with photos and updates, feel comfortable giving medicine, and of course lots of love.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting professionally for 3 years now and it still makes me happy as ever. I had cats growing up where I learned a lot from my Mom who was an avid animal lover, and then sat friends’ cats in NYC, followed by working with Meowtel on a regular basis in addition to my full time work.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love earning a cat’s trust. It is so rewarding to connect with the energy of an animal and receive their love. So much can be said without the use of spoken language. It truly warms my heart to receive a head bump or a belly flop proving trust.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do! Finally! My kitty’s name is Oliver Tibbs, but we like to call him Mr. Tibbs or Tibby. I love him more than anything in the entire world.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Communicate your wants and needs and see if the sitter has an energy that matches you and your kitty! All animals are different, as are all humans. The first meet and greet should tell you a lot about how things will go!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I am always hyper aware of doors being closed and locked while I’m attending a cat because I put myself in the owner’s shoes. Empathy is so important. I always review the client’s notes prior to arriving as well so things go smoothly and I don’t miss anything.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Feather on a string is the best! I love watching them go into hunting mode, so hiding it or imitating a real animal is so entertaining.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I usually like to move slow and lay down on the floor near the cat who might be shy or anxious to disarm them and let them know I’m not a threat. I try and be a gentle energy for them.

Dan took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. One of our cats is currently kenneled due to an injury and requires daily medication, which added an extra layer of care and responsibility. Dan handled everything so well — he was reliable, attentive, and clearly very compassionate with the cats. He even went above and beyond by cleaning up the crate area, which I truly appreciated and did not expect. It gave us real peace of mind knowing our kitties were in such good hands. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dependable pet sitter.

Dan did a great job. He was flexible and accommodating when setting up service and meet and great. He sent pics daily which meant they were not hiding as they sometimes do. He kept me updated on health issues and gave meds daily. He was responsible, friendly and obviously loves cats!

Dan was fantastic! I can't say enough good things about him. (And zero bad!) My cats are kind of a handful and he did great with them. He sent very thorough post-visit notes, including pictures AND videos playing with them. We have a third, separate cat in the house and he even checked on his food and water stores, and uprighted his gravity food feeder after he knocked it over. Will absolutely book Dan again!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
