From a young age, I was that kid putting tiny hats on my cats, pushing them in swings, and pulling them behind me in a little red wagon. And somehow, they loved it! I know how to read a cat’s moods, respect their boundaries, and let them approach me on their own terms. I’m experiencing giving medications – pills, ointments, even tricky eye or eardrops – with patient and gentle hands. During visits, I balance play, snuggles, and quiet time so every cat feel safe, loved, and understood. Friends say I’m kind, funny, and lighthearted, and cats seem to agree. I don’t just feed cats. I bond with them.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting for about 17 years, starting back in college. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats for friends, work clients, and members of my community. Often as a side gig to earn extra income, and of course for extra kitty cuddles!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I most enjoy about cat sitting is that every cat I meet feels like a new friend. I genuinely open “click“ with cats. And I love getting to know their unique personalities, quirks, and moods.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I honestly can’t pick a single favorite. Every cat I’ve cared for has been special in their own way. They all have unique personalities, quirks, and ways of showing affection, and that’s part of the joy of cat sitting. How do you compare friends? And I mean, the cats, not the people!

Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Atlanta cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
