How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
First and foremost, I of course makes sure your kitties don't escape. I've known a few door dashing cats in my time, and I am always extra cautious and aware when entering and exiting. While I'm in the home, I will make sure nothing is amiss, and that no messes have been made. I'm attentive and follow owner instructions. I will also make sure the owners are kept up to date on anything out of the ordinary.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am typically here in town during holidays and available to sit. The one exception is possibly Christmas day, but my availability will be marked accordingly.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
On top of following the owner's advice, I know that patience and body language are key. I'm sure you know you can't force a cat into being your pal. I just make sure I'm calm and quiet, getting on their level and meeting them on their terms. I'd love nothing more than to love on every kitty, but I know every cat is different.

I’m normally super nervous leaving my cats with a new sitter, I’ve heard horror stories. But Cole was super communicative and made sure I knew everything that had to do with my kitties. Their moods, appetite, playfulness, etc. This helped me feel reassured my cats were in good hands. Everyone was in good spirits when I came home too, so I know everyone was loved while I was gone. 10/10 will book again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
