I enjoy pet sitting for others because I know how much it means to me when others watch my fur babies when Iā€™m away. I currently have two cats, one who is special needs (diabetic & RCM) and another young cat just over a year old. Some of my favorite activities include laying around with and playing with me cats. I think itā€™s important to give cats the quality time they deserve when their fami... I enjoy pet sitting for others because I know how much it means to me when others watch my fur babies when Iā€™m away. I currently have two cats, one who is special needs (diabetic & RCM) and another young cat just over a year old. Some of my favorite activities include laying around with and playing with me cats. I think itā€™s important to give cats the quality time they deserve when their families are away, even if thatā€™s just sitting with them for a while after making sure they have food, water and a clean restroom. I highly value communication with owners and send updates including photos during each visit. I am so excited to find Meowtel as both a cat parent and lover of cats after my own experience struggling to find cat sitters versus the traditional dog sitter or dog walker.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two female black cats. Stevie - 13 y/o Maine Coon & Mac - 1.5 y/o Bombay. Love my two little voids so much!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I will always ask that we do a meet and greet ahead of final booking for cat sitting. Itā€™s very important to me that you and your babies are comfortable with me, and that all instructions are clear so you have full peace of mind knowing your cat is in good care.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Iā€™ve had runners in the past and am extremely cautious about opening and closing doors and ensure nothing unsafe is left out where a cat may find access.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For cats who are timid or anxious I typically let them lead. Iā€™ve found cats do much better when you let them come to you. Iā€™ll typically arrange their food in their normal areas and then park myself a ways away on the floor at their level and sit quietly so that if they want to approach, they can at their own pace.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
