I’ve been a professional pet sitter since 2019, but have many more years of experience sitting for family and friends. I currently do this full time, but before that I worked full time in a vet clinic grooming salon. Due to my work there, I have plenty of experience with pets of all temperaments.
I am very comfortable giving many different medication types including eye/ear drops, topical, oral, subcutaneous, and injected medications. For furry friends in need of oral or injected medications, I require an in person meet and greet during medication times so we can thoroughly go over instructions and possible hiding spots... Note- if you see my calendar is unavailable for the days you’re looking for care, please message me. I often change plans and forget to update the calendar!

Please note that while I am able to complete medications in most instances, my ability to complete injected and subcutaneous medications is highly dependent on your cat’s reaction. I am unable to complete medications on cats that bite/scratch, and if this is a common reaction from your pet I will likely be unable to administer their medications. I know some kitties can be a bit spicy, so hissing and growling is expected in some instances.
I am pet CPR certified, so you can rest easy knowing your babies are in good hands. I am fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19.
I serve Smyrna, Vinings, Cumberland, Mableton, Austell , and parts of Marietta and Sandy Springs. My availability for drop ins is pretty flexible between the hours of 10a-6p, especially if you request time on my schedule far in advance. I do request that you provide 1-2 hour time frames in which you’d be okay with the drop ins happening (2-4p, for example). I’ll do my best to work with you to provide care as close to their normal schedules as possible.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I currently have 3 cats but want so many more! Myrrah and Cheese are my two girls, and Michael Ehrmantraut (yes, like from Breaking Bad) is my sweet cuddly boy.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I am available for every major holiday except for New Years Day, which I typically take off to celebrate the holidays with my own family. Please book well in advance for holidays, my Thanksgiving and Christmas calendars are typically fully booked 2-4 weeks in advance.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I usually try to give them as much space as they need! If they’re hiding, I try to leave them alone as much as possible. This tells them that I respect their space and I’m not a threat. If they come out to see me I try to give them lots of treats and talk to them in a calm, sweet voice, and I only touch them if they rub against me. Some cats warm up on the first visit, some take months of visits to get comfortable with me. The most important thing to me is showing them that I respect their personal space and I’m not there to hurt them. If your cat needs medications and is on the shy-er side, I recommend booking visits before you leave for your trip to give your kitty plenty of time to get used to me.

Elle took care of my shy cat who needs medication AND my wild kitten who needs someone to watch her be bad. She sent some of the best pictures I’ve seen of our old shy lady! The cats were fed and watered of course, and Elle went above and beyond by reducing a Chewy package that was delivered a day early which was temperature sensitive. We’re going to request Elle for every trip!

Elle was fantastic! It was our first time leaving our two and only having drop in visits since we first adopted the kitten. We were nervous but Elle followed every instruction and gave fantastic updates and we were eagerly awaiting the photos everyday! The kitten can be a little skittish but he warmed right up and was front and center for picture time. We will definitely be reaching out to Elle again!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Smyrna cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

really enjoyed communicating with Elle and enjoyed their energy you can tell how much they love animals, especially cats! very quick responses, they gave updates every day, mentioned what they did & sometimes would send pictures. i gave a huge detailed list of things to do and they did not miss. they even went above and beyond and did certain things that wasnt a priority. i would definitely book again with elle!
