This was our first booking with Mary Beth and we couldn’t be happier! My sweet kitty is super cautious about strangers and takes quite some time to warm up to new people. Of course my baby also requires a nightly pill to keep her IBD under control. It is incredibly important she doesn’t miss a dose as things go downhill quickly. I booked a long session for the first night and Mary Beth was patient and understanding with my baby, giving her time and using some creative strategies that resulted in success! Previous sitters have had to force the pill, once you do that there’s no going back, and I hate thinking my baby is scared when I travel. No more thanks to the amazing Mary Beth! She also sent loads of cute pics. Can’t recommend her enough!

Mary Beth stayed with our two cats for two weeks while we were away on our honeymoon, and she was absolutely amazing. She kept in touch consistently and sent us so many fun photos of the kitties while we were gone, which we really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares about cats. Without question, Mary Beth has gone above and beyond any cat-sitter we have had. We are lifetime cat owners with multiple sitter experiences in two major cities, and Mary Beth is exceptional in her care. At a minimum, she delivered on the top 2 priorities for us: 1) Communication - daily photos and updates, timely responsiveness, ease of following our pace and flow of conversation; and 2) Personalization - knowing our cats and their unique needs and personalities; trying different approaches to feeding, medicating, calming, etc. During our most recent booking, Mary Beth and our cats had more than their fair share of adventure. A tree was struck by lightning in our yard and caught on fire. Mary Beth safely evacuated herself and the cats, called the fire department, worked with the neighbor to relocate the cats at his home overnight, then moved the cats back into our house after the tree fire was put out and the tree taken town the next day. We were out of the country yet our cats and our house were safe because Mary Beth acted swiftly and with great care. “Above and beyond” is an understatement but, as we have learned from this emergency situation, a testament to the kind of values Mary Beth holds as a cat sitter and a person. We don’t wish this type of situation on anyone else, of course, but we do highlight it because it is important to capture Mary Beth’s grace under pressure as well as her exceptional cat care under the most typical circumstances. You simply cannot go wrong with Mary Beth.

Mary Beth is a cat whisperer! My 10-yr-old boy was noticeably more chill when I returned from my trip because she gave him all the cuddles and pets he needed while I was away. She also gave him his allergy meds. The peace of mind you get from a good pet sitter is priceless, and Mary Beth delivers. Already booked again for the fall!

Mary Beth took wonderful care of our shy cat Milo! During the home visit, he went right up to her and let her pet him, which he very rarely does with guests. I knew instantly that we had found the right person. She’s very thorough, asked great questions regarding Milo’s care, and had no problem administering his medication. She updated me every morning with pictures and pertinent information. She even cleaned up the litter that had gotten on the floor around the litter boxes. She’s amazing! Mary Beth was everything we could’ve asked for while away. It was our first time leaving since adopting a kitten who has a habit of acting like a maniac, so we were very nervous. She took perfect care of our babies all weekend and even went above and beyond expectation to take out the trash and clean all of their bowls before we returned. Marybeth went above and beyond when caring for my cats while I was away for 3 weeks. I felt at ease while I was gone and there was no worry for my old diabetic girl being cared for properly. My cats were happy, healthy, and loved while I was away. I got great and frequent updates, and they always included some pics with my cats on her lap (which my old girl doesn’t do with just anyone). I wish I could put my love for MB into words but there’s just not enough words for that!

Mary Beth was phenomenal taking care of our 3 cats for 5 nights. Each morning and each evening she would send an abundant amount of photos…. per my request. Within a day of being there, all 3 cats opened up to her and let Mary Beth give them belly rubs. They have to be comfortable with someone for them to do that. And, I could just see it in the photos of her petting them. We definitely will be using her in our future travel plans.
