Cat Sitting in Stockbridge, GA

I've had cats in my life for as long as I can remember. My parents had cats from before I was born and continued to have them into their 70s, and I've carried on the tradition. I'm currently between cats and would love to get some fuzz back into my life. Currently, I'm doing freelance work, including background in the film industry, so my schedule is very flexible, and I'm used to driving all over town for gigs so I'm flexible there, too. Prior to striking out into the freelance world, though, I worked at Georgia Aquarium and later at Zoo Atlanta as an exhibit interpreter, so I love being around all kinds of animals.

Among the cats I've had as a part of my life are:
Cinnamon (Siamese) (liked to jump into your arms and lick your ears)
Katy (calico) (a bit cantankerous and not... I've had cats in my life for as long as I can remember. Checkers (calico) (Big fraidy cat)
Pixie (long-hair calico) (The first cat that was really MINE. Liked to sit on my lap and drool on my shirt when I petted her and then would sleep next to my pillow at night)
Sassy, Sage, Silver (Siamese or possibly ragdoll cats, all from the same litter) (Sage was the Queen of the House and what she said went, Sassy was substantially more reserved, Silver was a daddy's boy)
Rhia, Freya (their previous owner re-homed them with me, Rhia an orange tabby, Freya a grey tabby) (Rhia hated everyone except me, who she loved. When I went to pick her up her previous owner let her out of the carrier. She made a beeline straight to me. Put her paws on my knee, put her nose on my nose...and then hissed in my face. This cat was a force of nature and loved to cuddle...but only with me. Anybody else was At Risk.) (Freya was a lot more reserved, but still had a personality, especially as she got older. She would caterwaul in the early morning hours demanding I get out of bed. Not a big snuggler, but loved in her own way).

David was really great with my cat, who loves her human and isn’t really interested in anyone else! He gave her space but made sure she was ok. He sent great photos and updates that made me feel really reassured about her health and safety. He even went above and beyond and picked up a package that was delivered to my porch unexpectedly. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
