I know that leaving home can be stressful for both the cats and cat parents, so when I sit, I like to give treats and offer play and social time for the cat, and I send photos and updates to the owner. Iām very respectful of the catās space, and wonāt push a cat if itās feeling shy. Iām proud to say that Iāve been able to connect with even shy cats and can encourage them to come out for pets!
Iām generally a friendly and outgoing person, and a bring a gentle, calm demeanor to all my cat interactions. Iām dedicated to providing the best care for my cats and others, so Iāll take care of whatever you need during my visit. Feeding, scooping litter, play, and some medications are ways I care for cats.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting for friends and family for about 15 years. I also volunteered at the Humane Society for 2 years. Iāve cared for many cats, including feeding, litter boxes, and oral and topical medications. Iāve cared for my own cats for over 20 years, from kittens to end of life.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats! Cats all have such unique personalities, and I love figuring out what they enjoy, whether thatās treats, specific toys or play, or pets in a specific spot. Iām very in tune with cats, and respectfully explore what interactions they prefer. Since I also have cats, I really value being a safe and communicative sitter to help ease any cat parent worries.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have two boys named Grendel (3y) and Louie (1y). My cat Mochi passed last year due to preexisting conditions (she was an adult adoption). My two childhood cats, Hazel and Dot, lived to 15 and 18. I have loved each of my cats so deeply, and I even miss my boys when Iām at work during the day!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
