I’ve grown up with animals all my life, have volunteered at shelters, and have always been the person my family and friends can fully trust. I’d be honored to be the person you can trust with your fur baby... Hey, I’m Holly! I’m a cat momma to the best 9 year-old gray domestic shorthair. Her name is Betty (as in Boop) and she is my best friend. We love to play hide and seek, nap on the couch, or simply watch pigeons land on the window ledges. If I talk to her, she will talk back like the genius she is.

I live in Ravenswood and can easily travel by train, bus, or Uber within the areas Lincoln Square, Andersonville, Uptown, North Center, Bowmanville, Albany Park, and Lakeview.
Chicago is the greatest city in the world and I’m proud to have lived here for the past decade. I enjoy exploring different neighborhoods, discovering new coffee shops, and going to shows at local venues like Reggie's or the Metro. Also big about hot dogs.
My schedule is super flexible. I’m a copywriter enrolling in portfolio school this Fall, so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your cat. I have a Fujifilm Instax camera and would love to leave behind a cute polaroid of your babies.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I started cat sitting earlier this summer and it’s been great! I’ve already met so many amazing cats and cat parents. Even though I’m new to cat sitting for others outside of my family and friend group, I’m certainly not new to caring for cats. I know that every cat is different and I make sure to follow all rules and requests. I’ve also hired cat sitters in the past and know how important it is to trust the person you’re hiring. I personally want picture updates and thorough communication from a sitter, which is why I will offer the same.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Meeting different types of cats and their unique personalities. I already loved cats, but cat sitting has made me fall in love with them even more.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one cat named Betty. She is a 9 year-old gray domestic shorthair and I can’t imagine my life without her. I adopted her in 2017 from a shelter in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. She’s the smartest cat I ever met. I even have a tattoo of her.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yup! My schedule is super open and flexible and I’m happy to cat sit during all holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, International Talk Like a Pirate Day—I’m available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
