My last cat, Bajou, had kidney disease, so Iām experienced with medication, special care... Iām a lifelong cat lover with more than 20 years of experience caring for my own cats, along with professional cat-sitting experience. I previously worked at Hyde Bark in Chicago, where I provided in-home cat-sitting services and learned how important it is to follow each catās individual routine, personality, and comfort level.
My last cat, Bajou, had kidney disease, so Iām experienced with medication, special care routines, monitoring changes in behavior, and giving older or medically sensitive cats calm, patient attention. Iām also currently fostering a young kitten, which has given me recent hands-on experience with frequent feeding, energetic play, supervision, and kitten care.
During visits, I carefully follow instructions, refresh food and water, clean litter boxes, provide playtime and affection, and make sure your cat appears comfortable and secure. Iām dependable, observant, and happy to send thoughtful photo updates so you can feel confident your cat is safe and well cared for.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have more than 20 years of experience caring for my own cats, along with professional cat sitting experience through Hyde Bark in Chicago. Iām comfortable caring for cats of different ages, personalities, and medical needs. My cat Bajou had kidney disease, so I gained experience administering medication, following special care routines, and closely monitoring changes in health and behavior. Iām also currently fostering a young kitten, which has given me recent experience with feeding, supervision, socialization, and energetic play.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Hands down, the cat wand fishing pole toy. It encourages exercise, satisfies natural hunting instincts, and is perfect for interactive bonding and playtime.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I move slowly, speak softly, and let the cat approach me on their own terms. I respect hiding spaces and never force interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
