I believe cats need more than just food and water. They need attention, stimulation and lots of love. As a pet sitter, I’m patient, thorough, and communicatice. Expect photos and updates often. I am comfortable with all kinds of cat care: from playing, brushing, feeding, cleaning the litter box, cleaning ... As the cat whisperer, it is my mission to meet as many cats as possible.

I am comfortable with all kinds of cat care: from playing, brushing, feeding, cleaning the litter box, cleaning up messes, reading body language, and giving the best chin scratches. I strive to maintain a clean and safe environment for every cat and will go above and beyond for your feline friend! I know what it’s like to leave your cat behind and wonder if you can trust the sitter-I have my own cat who is truly my best friend! I will uphold the standard of care you expect for your pet.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been cat sitting for a little over 5 years! My experience ranges from kittens to senior cats, active and healthy to sick and immobile. I have done overnight visits and drop ins. I can administer medicine and cuddles alike.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Always do a meet and greet to ensure you are a good fit- and don’t feel bad declining a sitter after the meet and greet! It’s important to be 100% comfortable with the person who will be taking care of your kitty.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I follow the owner’s instructions meticulously. If they want their house left in a certain way, I will do so and then some! I never bring over anyone else or leave house keys in an unsafe location. As for the cats, I supervise them during play time and keep dangerous items out of reach.

Lizzie is incredible! I highly recommend booking with her. She is so sweet and sends lots of updates with amazing pictures. She is super attentive. I have an automatic water fountain for my cat, and Lizzie noticed almost immediately that the water fountain wasn't running and texted me to make sure it was still working. She followed all my notes perfectly and had zero issues navigating my confusing apartment. I will absolutely be booking again with Lizzie in the future.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
