Because of my personal experience, I’m especially comfortable with cats who need medication, have strong routines, anxiety, behavioral quirks, or unique safety needs... Hi! I’m a true blue cat lover with years of experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve cared for friends’, family members’, and neighbors’ cats over the years, and I also have a cat of my own who requires extra attention and specialized care.
Because of my personal experience, I’m especially comfortable with cats who need medication, have strong routines, anxiety, behavioral quirks, or unique safety needs. My own cat has pica and hyperesthesia, so I understand how important it is to create a calm, consistent, safe environment and pay close attention to details that others might miss. I know every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy learning what makes each one feel comfortable and secure.
Whether your cat is social and playful, shy and cautious, or somewhere in between, I aim to make visits feel low-stress and comforting while you’re away. I’m attentive, patient, and detail-oriented, and I’ll always treat your home and pets with care and respect.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to meet all kinds of kitty friends and embrace that every cat is different. Getting to know their personalities, earning their trust, and helping them feel comfortable while their owners are away is the most rewarding part of cat sitting. As a cat owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your cat like family.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have one cat named Beans and he is my soul mate! He is very sweet, silly, quirky, sleepy and full of personality. He like to be where the people are, loves being involved in whatever is going on around the house, inside and out. He loves going out on his leash for walks around the neighborhood or just lounging on the porch. He also has some unique needs due to pica and hyperesthesia. Because of that, he thrives on routine, a calm environment, and extra attention to safety and comfort.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I care for cats by creating a calm, safe, and consistent environment that helps them feel comfortable while their owners are away. I pay close attention to routines, feeding schedules, medication instructions, behavior changes, and each cat’s unique personality and comfort level. Because my own cat has special behavioral and safety needs, I’m especially aware of keeping hazards out of reach, monitoring stress, and making sure pets feel secure in their environment. I am extremely detail oriented and can easily follow specific instructions and and aim to leave everything clean, safe, and exactly as I found it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Chicago cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $29.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
