I remember the first time I saw a kitten in front of my school when I was eight years old. It was meowing loud in the bushes and shivering in cold weather. I brought my whole community of family and friends to save it and get it a home that night. Since then, I have had about three cats, two orange-haired and one calico with spots. In every household I have visited, if there are cats, then the cat and I will bond. I love cats in books, movies, and in my life. I enjoy how therapeutic their purring can be after a long day.

When I check on my friends, I always ask them how their cats are doing, and they usually respond with a cute picture. One time, I met a feline nutritionist at a pet store and found her job so cool that I thought about becoming one in the future.
I love hanging out with cats and working alongside them on my laptop in evenings and the weekends. I have a background in healthcare and now work in Corporate Finance. Traveling is my favorite thing of all time, and I would like to visit every country in my lifetime. The next country I like to visit is Sweden. I like to read and watch films with beautiful cinematography. And I am trying to get back into swimming. My friends are my world, and we love finding new experiences with food and culture.
I moved from Dallas, TX, to Chicago for my new job two years ago. I live in the west suburbs. I work in Downtown Chicago, and I can travel anywhere from Glen Ellyn to Downtown Chicago. My favorite areas to catsit are Arlington Heights, Buena Park, Edgewater, Elmhurst, Evanston, Forest Park, Glen Ellyn, Lake View, Highland Park, Logan Square, Lincoln Park, Melrose Park, North Halstead, Oak Park, River North, Rogers Park, Uptown, West Loop, Winnetka, and Wilmette. I love to explore new areas and then the beautiful countryside.
As someone with a long history of healthcare experience, I have administered pills, liquids, ear drops, and even insulin shots to cats. As a seasoned biometric screener, I can check your cat's glucose levels (via ear) before giving them the insulin shots. I am even Animal CPR certified. In college, I fostered kittens, kept them warm, fed them kitten formula through bottles, and used non-clumping litter for safety.

I enjoy how happy the cats are to see me at every visit, even if it's only during the feeding time.

I have two cats, Phoenix and Simba.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Feel free to reach out by casually messaging me and introducing yourself and your awesome kitties. In the beginning, I always ask if you can share three things: any dietary restrictions, medications and their use, and the behavior around new humans. If you have four or more cats, please choose a reservation for a minimum of 45 minutes. From experience, this allows feeding, cleaning, and playtime with all the cats, especially if they have special dietary needs, medications, or need to be separated or monitored when eating. If a cat needs to be monitored when eating, please time it along with all the tasks to determine visit times (20 minutes may not be enough). If your cat requires two insulin shots per day at a certain time with a twelve-hour period in between, I highly encourage overnight visits. Please ensure you have stocked up on all the supplies.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always discuss with the cat's parents during our meet and greet if the cats try to escape through any routes in the house and what areas I should be cautious when moving around. In addition, I ask if there are any safety measures at the housing entrance, doors, and windows to feel confident that the cats will be safe when I am not visiting. Furthermore, we discuss whether there are any spaces in the house the cats are not allowed to enter. I will also ask about the cat's history and any incidents that may have occurred in the past, e.g., playing with a dangerous toy.

Great communication and care. Our cat gets sad being apart after a few days and stops eating. We noticed that he skipped a few meals after about a week so we told Mohammad. Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Glendale Heights cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

My husband and I needed an express visit late at night (after 7pm) since we were traveling and out of 3 sitters we wrote, Mohammad was the only one to answer and he did within 10 minutes, he was fast at opening a space for us with such a short notice. he was super diligent and punctual picking up the keys and then dropping them off after visiting our cats, we did a video call and he was very easygoing and did everything just as we needed.
