I love cats because I love their personalities and I connect with them very well. I love how they are independent and love doing things on their own, but they will come find you when they are ready to be loved or want to show you affection.

I have one cat of my own, named Gumball, whom I adopted in the autumn of 2020. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made as Gumball is such a bundle of joy to be around. I love that I am able to care for him with as much as love as he shared with me. Gumball was about 8 weeks old when I brought him home... I love cats because I love their personalities and I connect with them very well. I love how they are independent and love doing things on their own, but they will come find you when they are ready to be loved or want to show you affection.

I have one cat of my own, named Gumball, whom I adopted in the autumn of 2020. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made as Gumball is such a bundle of joy to be around. I love that I am able to care for him with as much as love as he shared with me. Gumball was about 8 weeks old when I brought him home. He had fleas, broken nose, heartworm, ear mites, and a heart murmur. Although I had zero experience, I loved that I have been able to help Gumball be cured of all the issues he had and become the very healthy fur baby he is. I have never worked at a shelter but I have helped brought a few friendly stray kitties in the neighborhood to anti-cruelty animal shelters.

My primary occupation is an automation engineer but I would love to spend some free time on the week nights and weekends helping others to care for their cats. If your cat is in the Chicago area, I'd love to help out!

Linda is wonderful. She had great communication and sent multiple photos each day of our cat and water bowl, food level and clean litter box. We had a snow storm and Linda still came to our house. She even took in packages and cleaned snow off of our steps.

Linda did a great job watching our kitties when we had to take an unexpected trip at the end of November. She checked in on them every day, sent us adorable pics, and did a really good job of making sure they were fed and well cared for. She was also super nice and easy to work with. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
