I have 8 cats of my own and have I fostered over 50 cats and kittens since 2018. In my spare time (ha!) I volunteer to teach community members about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) to help our outside feline friends. I try to understand all feline behaviors and I meet each cat where they are to ensure their individual needs are met. I bring the same love and attention to every kitty I care for as if they were my own. If your kitty likes to play I am happy to get out a wand toy. If they love to cuddle, so do I! If they are a little scared or shy I will follow their lead and do what they are most comfortable with... I have a lot of experience with medications as one of my own cats takes a pill two times a day. I am happy to feed your cats their special diets, and all my fostering has helped me with earning the trust of nervous or shy cats. Keeping your cats safe and healthy is my #1 priority so I want to know if they are door dashers or where they like to hide.
I know how hard it is to be away from a part of your family so I love snapping and sending cute photo updates so you can feel totally at ease while you're away from your fur kids. Each one of my guests gets treated like family with patience, compassion, and plenty of chin scritches and belly rubs (if allowed)!
I am in Lockport IL and visit the surrounding areas. I look forward to meeting and taking the best care of your cats when you are away!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats! And visiting the ones I have already made friends with. I love being able to make sure the parents know their cats are being well cared for, so they can relax.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 8 cats! Oy, Shanks, Tyson (she is a tripod!) Gus, Turbo, Thorz, and our newest additions Dante and Lilith.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I typically am. We don't travel for holiday or do traditional family gatherings so I tend to have flexibility around the holidays

She is extremely pleasant to work with, went above and beyond by watering my plants, bringing my mail in and taking care of packages. We are so lucky to have come across Nicole! She is an amazing caretaker for our cats while we are away. She sends plenty of pictures and updates with how they are doing. She knows each of their routines and ensures that they get plenty of play while she is at our home. She is respectful of our home and leaves it as she found it. She is reliable and is quick to update if any concerns arise with one of the cats. She takes her time with them and makes sure they both get all of their food and plenty of love too. Our cats love having her visit. We know they are in great hands while we are away. Would definitely recommend Nicole!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Lockport cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
